16-Year Edward Jones Veteran Joins Wealth Partners Alliance in Dallas as Newest Partner
Dallas, TX – February 11, 2022 - - For the second consecutive month, Dallas based wealth management start-up, Wealth Partners Alliance (“WPA”) announces the addition of its newest Partner and Wealth Advisor, John Garcia. John comes from Edward Jones where he has spent the past 15 years. Mr. Garcia had been advising on $100MM in Private Client Assets at Edward Jones. Prior to Edward Jones, John was with Texas Securities Partners.
“This is an incredible opportunity,” Garcia said. “I feel so fortunate to be aligning with a partnership like Wealth Partners Alliance. Their forward thinking approach to customized and holistic wealth management, along with their collaborative culture was what attracted me to them.”
Throughout Garcia’s career, he has helped clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies through planning and portfolio management.
The addition of John comes at a time of steady growth for WPA. Over the last 14 months, WPA has successfully added six new advisors who managed over $720,000,000 in client assets at their previous firms.
“We have a lot of momentum and traction with advisors looking not only for independence to run their practice, but to be in an environment where day in and day out, we all get to interact with each other and share ideas,” Founding Partner and RJFS Wealth Advisor John Saalfield said. “If there is one thing that the past two years have taught us, is that entrepreneurs in our industry want autonomy to run their business, but also crave the social and in person collaboration to share best ideas and best practices that further benefits their clients.”
WPA prides itself on the coordinated and detailed approach to guiding the advisors when they are thinking about breaking away from their previous firm. The success of each new advisor is dependent on a successful transition.
“Because everyone involved with WPA has been through their own transition, it makes our process genuine and personal. Each transition is unique to each advisor; however, with each new addition, we are able to take away those experiences and to learn and continuously improve upon our process,” added Lindsay Heyman Branch Manager, who oversees the local transition and is also head of Compliance and Supervision for the office.
Garcia brings a wealth of experience and a breadth of financial knowledge to his practice that WPA hopes to continue to capitalize on.
“We are excited to have John in the fold,” Partner and Wealth Advisor David Silva said. “Having come from Edward Jones myself several years ago, I am happy to see him take this next step in his career.”
“His enthusiasm toward what we are all building here is contagious. This is going to be a lot of fun working together, and the reason we wanted to secure his commitment to WPA,” Founding Partner Rick Lima concluded.
