David Thailing joined Wealth Partners Alliance in 2026 as a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor. He is a fee-only financial planner with over 30 years of experience guiding professionals, business owners, and high-net-worth families.  David is deeply passionate about helping clients not just build wealth, but truly enjoy it, by simplifying their financial lives and removing the stress and complexity that so often come with success.

He believes wealth should create freedom, not additional burdens. David partners closely with clients to bring clarity, organization, and confidence to every aspect of their financial world, so they can focus on what matters most - family, experiences, and living fully.

David designs, implements, and actively manages comprehensive financial plans encompassing retirement income, tax strategy, risk management, estate planning, and investments.  He delivers a family office experience by coordinating with attorneys, tax professionals, and other specialists to ensure every piece works together seamlessly. The result is a clear, integrated strategy that simplifies decision-making and supports a more enjoyable life.

Prior to becoming a financial advisor, David worked in the real estate securities industry, where responsibilities included involvement in the structuring, origination, and distribution of real estate investment offerings totaling approximately $2.0 billion. He also has experience providing educational training to financial professionals on income-oriented investment concepts.

David earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his full-time MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.

David is happily married to his wife of 28 years, Emy. They enjoy spending time with their families and are actively involved in their community through St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and their support of local animal rescue organizations.
